George Armstrong Obituary
George was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He grew up in Cortez and was a graduate of Arizona State University, and a local environmental business contractor/entrepreneur. George is survived by his wife Connie of 49 years, children Tyra and Tamara, siblings Bill and Patti, son-in-laws Ted and Mike and his seven grandchildren Tanner, Trey, Jonathan, Yvonne, Rosa, Adriana, and Isabel who will all deeply miss him.
He was preceded in death by his parents George II and Phyllis Fletcher. A celebration of life was held on March 11, 2012 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Hall in Sunnyslope, Ariz. where he was the auditor. The family request in lieu of flowers to please donation in the name of George Armstrong to the Fraternal Order of Eagles Sunnyslope Aerie #2957, 633 W. Hatcher Rd. Phoenix AZ 85021-2459
