HARLEY HOLT Obituary

Harley Holt, went to be with The Lord, on Sept. 1, 2024. Loving husband, father, grandfather & "Great Papa"; he passed away peacefully at home with his wife, Daffo and his son, Steve by his side after an extended illness. Recently of Cortez, CO; his hometown was Collinwood, TN (Wayne CO). He worked at Murray Bicycle Plant in Lawrenceburg, TN for several years, before traveling and working as a carpenter supervisor for large construction companies, building nuclear plants & heavy road construction bridges as a few of his many achievements. A devout Christian, he believed in helping his fellow man. Even if you didn't know Harley & Daffo, they were likely to show up if you were in need, always ready to help.

He is preceded in death by his and Daffo's daughter, Patricia Darlene Holt in 1981 and his parents, John & Vercie Holt of Collinwood. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Daffo Berry Holt, Son: Steven Holt & (DIL) Wanda Holt; grandson: Drew Holt & (GDIL) Mayra Villalobos; granddaughter Meagan Wyer, (GSIL) Trevor Wyer, and 2 (GGSs) Paxton & Brooks Wyer. A memorial service will be at 2:00pm Sat. Oct. 19, 2024, at Victory World Outreach, 11088 Hwy 491, Cortez, CO with Pastor Jon Bland presiding.
