Helen Randall Obituary

Funeral mass for Cortez resident Helen Randall will be held at St. Rita Catholic Church in Mancos on Thursday, March 20 at 10 a.m. Reverend Pat Valdez, C.R. will officiate. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.

Helen went to be with our Lord. She passed away at Vista Grande Nursing Home at the age of 83. She was born July 5, 1930 in Mancos where she continued to live through her younger years. She later moved to Ogden, Utah where she spent the majority of her adult life.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Randall; her parents; and five siblings. She is survived by her six children, Irene and Steve Grindle of Farmington, N.M., Dorothy and Jerry Montoya of Cortez, Sandra and Ed Muniz of Cortez, Robert and Cheryl Randall of Ogden, Utah, Gary Randall of Albuquerque, N.M., and Loretta Lobato of Cortez who has spent the past several years living with and caring for her. She is also survived by her dear friend, Alfred Vallejos; 20 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.

Our beloved mother, grandmother, aunt and friend was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
