James McNair Obituary

James Edward McNair, 83, was born December 15, 1939 in Michigan USA. Jim passed on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 8:40 p.m. at St. Mary's in Grand Junction, Colorado. Jim served 10 years on the National Guard. Jim and Tootie married August of 1967 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lived in Escondido, California. Moved to Telluride, Colorado in January 1974. Jim was an artist and an architect. Wife Tootie had a hair salon (The Beauty Parlour). Jim retired in 1993 and moved to Cortez, Colorado.

Jim's first passion was motorcycles, followed by snow skiing, snowboarding and wind surfing in Oregon.

Surviving Jim are his wife Claudia Wolfe/McNair; daughter Carol Johnson/McNair; three grandchildren Christy, Cassandra and Courtney; three great-grandchildren Dustin, JJ and Ariyah.

Father George McNair and mother Adele (Pindor) preceded Jim in death.
