Joanna Graves Obituary
Joanna Joy Graves (Senn) was born November 18, 1975, in Odessa, TX, to Wes and Sondra Senn (Hover). Joy tragically lost her life in a car accident on November 9, 2024, in Volcano, HI, at the age of 48. She grew up in Cortez, CO, as well as spending a lot of time with her grandparents in Odessa, TX. We will all greatly miss Joy's jolly spirit, quick witted humor, and infectious laugh.
Surviving Joy are her dad Wes Senn of Odessa, TX; parents Benny and Sondra Cordova of Cortez, CO; her three children, son Tyler Tapey (Taylor) of Grand Junction, CO; daughter Tori Reyes of Odessa, TX; daughter Tera Graves of Volcano, HI. Three grandchildren Gage and Ember Tapey, and Dahlia Reyes. Her sister Tina Jackson (Dante Sanchez) of Cortez, CO. Step siblings Sheila (Josh) and Ben Cordova. As well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whom she loved dearly. Her spouse of 21 years Bruce Graves, that has been missing since May 17, 2021.
Joy is proceeded in death by her paternal grandparents Bob and Joanne Gibson; maternal grandparents Glen and Margaret (Ward) Hover; sister Marina Cotton; niece Danika Maestas. As well as many other loved ones whom went before her.
The family invites you to a Celebration of Joy's Life and potluck at the Lewis-Arriola Community Center on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 3:30 p.m.
