Joseph McKinley Obituary
Joe moved to Mancos, CO his freshman year in high school. That's where he met the treasure of his life, Gail Headrick (McKinley). They were married on June 1, 1969. Together they had two sons, Joseph Robert McKinley and Travis Lee McKinley (Doris). Five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Joe was an avid hunter, loved the mountains and never said no to a fishing trip. He helped countless people in this area from patching water leaks to giving them a place to live. He will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral arrangements are through Hood Mortuary in Durango. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Mesa Trails Cowboy Church in Mancos, on October 21st at 2 pm. With procession to the cemetery following service. The Dolores State Bank is accepting donations for his memorial fund.
