Judy Suzanne is my cousin through the Townsend and Locker lines. She was very interested in her family history. Accordingly, she authorized me to do family history research for her. This led me on a grand adventure of discovery. Her grandfather Charles Sadler was the railroad stunt man in the Perils of Pauline movie series. He and his wife, Isabella Locker, came from Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. Isabella ran a modern dance studio in the Hollywood area. She dreamed of being a ballerina, but her family could not afford the training. Judy's great grandfather John A Hewlett was a resident of Hope Town and Marsh Harbour, Abaco, Bahamas. His wife, Susan Rocilli Weatherford Saunders, was from Green Turtle Cay, Abaco, Bahamas. They immigrated to Woodbury, New York, where their daughter, Dolly Mae Hewlett was born. Dolly Mae married Albert Joseph Brune, a ship captain, from LaHarve, France. Albert had a love affair with America and frequently hummed his favorite song, "God Bless America." I worked with the Wyannie Historical Musuem of Hope Town, Abaco, Bahamas and Bahamian volunteers to produce a family history CD of all the Bahamas islands, titled, "Dolly Mae CD" 2013 edition, containing 40,000+ families including Judy's and my family. This CD may be obtained from the museum. This led to the family history, Parashont, CD authorized by the Paiute Indian Tribe of Utah covering the tribes of the desert southwest. Through me Judy connects with the Southern Paiutes from the Grand Canyon area. I and my wife have been profoundly blessed by my association with Judy. As a result of this work, I offer, that tens of thousands welcomed Judy as she came through death's door. We conclude that the dead want to be found, remembered, and connected.

I was fortunate to be Judy´s student and friend. She loved unconditionally and gave her students a voice they didn´t know they had. I will miss her laughter, her quick wit, her bright eyes shining with humor. I feel blessed to have enjoyed her friendship for 50 years. Her presence made us better people. Thank you, Judy.

I was fortunate to have been Judy´s student for two years and a friend who valued her joy for life, poetry, music, teaching and helping young people to find their voices. She led by example and loved unconditionally. I will miss her laughter and her bright eyes shining with humor, but I am so grateful for the 50 years we shared. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. She will definitely be missed.

Pete and Gary,
I have never actually met either of you, but Judy was that person that each of us prays for to believe in us and see things that we might never see or realize in ourselves. Her loss is great for many, but as I made my journey from accounting into ministry, I still felt her her love across the miles and the years. I loved her very much and know that the Lord holds her in broad breaths as she lives the life God always intended for her to have. You are in my prayers. Pastor Christine Burns, (or known to Judy as Christy Vanderkooi)
