I first met Karen when she was 16 years old, we got married when she was 19, and lived our lives together for 40 years. She was a fine woman, although I didn't see her or talk to her for the last 21-years, I will hold my memories of her to the end of my life. I offer my condolences to our three daughters for the loss of their mother. May God bless and keep her.

The world is a much darker place without you in it, Mom. For a lot of people. Nothing will ever be the same. I miss you.

I took my mother to her meadow full of flowers in the mountains yesterday. We sent my dear daughter with her. I am trying si hard to live without them. I might be successful if she could somehow still help me...but they are at peace in a very special, beautiful place. I miss you Mom. I am not me without you

Remembering you today on your birthday. We can hear your voice the last we spoke before Christmas. You were so sweet and hopeful about your health and all you were going through. We had no idea you were so sick....You would have not had it known. All our love to the family who are still in mourning. WE KNOW we will see you again soon because of the promises of our Lord Jesus and our faith in Him and what He did on that cross for all of us. May all who mourn you know that you are with Him in Paradise and that they can be with you soon...if only they will believe.

So sad to learn that Karen has left us. She was a remarkable woman who gave freely of herself to all the students and staff at Dolores Elementary.

She was the heart and soul of our family. She took part in each and every one of lives. I cannot imagine my life without her. Thank you, all of you. I know there are many people out there that will miss her. She was my guiding light for 55 years. She never missed a step. Not once.

Karen will live on in my heart with joyful memories of her unshakable positive outlook and approach to life, and towards those she touched daily. To countless children she taught and supported at Dolores Elementary, Karen's unconditional positive regard and belief in them was as dependable as the sun coming up each day. I will be forever grateful that my path mixed with hers for those years. My thoughts and best wishes are with her family and community.

Karen was such an inspirational person. She gave her whole heart to working with RCIA at St. Margaret Mary. She said she was the glue that held RCIA together. She was much more. She was the heart and soul. I know she enjoying eternal bliss now..
