Kent Thomas Obituary
Kent was born July 26, 1967, in Columbus, GA before moving to Texas. Kent spent most of his youth in Texas before moving to Cortez, CO in 1994, where he met his loving wife, Shauna Thomas, and worked at Mesa Verde National Park for 20+ years. Kent and Shauna spent 29 wonderful years together, eventually relocating to Brownwood, TX in 2018.
Kent loved spending time with his family and dogs, as well as fishing the many lakes of southwestern Colorado with his son, Brad. Kent was a lifelong and die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, never once missing a game.
Kent is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy & Connie Thomas, as well as his mother- and father-in-law, John & Mary Kenoyer.
He is survived by his wife Shauna Thomas, son Bradley Thomas, daughter Heather Williams and her three sons, Alex, Max, and Axel, as well as his sister Jana Wilson, brother-in-law, Raymond Wilson, niece Morgan Wilson, and grandmother Doris Thomas.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 5th, 2023, at 11:00am at Riverside Park in Brownwood, TX. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cortez, CO Animal Shelter, or any other charity of your choice. In honor of Kent's die-hard love for the Dallas Cowboys, please wear a team jersey, shirt, or colors to the memorial.

Good friend class mate of 1985 I will miss all the fun we had growing up. I seen him in Colorado snow skiing with my kids before they moved to Brownwood. Great visit catching up. I talked to him many times on the phone since he moved back to Texas but haven´t seen him in person. I regret that, RIP Kent. Friends for ever.. Boone
