I was saddened to hear of Zane's passing and have spent the day thinking of how wonderful he was. He always had a good time getting me when I was young and naive and those memories make me smile. Some of the best memories are of trips to Arkansas and SQUARE DANCING! Love you today and always Dale. Please keep in touch as this is how we can keep his memory alive. I miss him. (((((Hugs)))))

We have known Zane Wright for over 18 years. We first met him, and Dale, when they lived across the Jackson Lake Dam.
Zane was a great guy and good neighbor. He was always willing to lend anyone a hand. My husband Kerry and I will miss him.

Our families deepest condolences to Dale and close family & friends. Zane was just the brightest, most caring, helpful and happiest gentlemen. He was a pillar in Mancos, and always welcoming and happy to help anybody out. This little community lost a kind hearted soul, and that is a light that will be dimmed, not forgotten. Will never forget what close friends Zane was to my grandparents, Butch & Jane Johnston, nor to my parents Bill & Judy Countess. We are all very sad at his passing. Zane, you will forever be greatly missed.

It's going to be hard to imagine a world without Zane Wright in it - a friend, along with Dale, for thirty years. He built us such a wonderful cabin, patiently took banjo lessons with me, buried my three horses, and leaves behind so many happy memories of our years together. All my love to Dale and his family. Wish we could have had just one more summer...

I am so sorry and shocked to hear about Zane's passing. What a great guy and friend! 23 years ago I had fun working with him as we built my families cabin above Jackson Lake with my dad and longtime friend Sonny McDonald. At that time I got to know PAIC which stood for Pie and Ice Cream. That was Zane's favorite and was an excuse to go to town. Also, I remember Zane giving me rides on Casey the backhoe. Will miss seeing him every summer and having dinner with him at the Millwood in Mancos. My sympathy goes out to Dale, Otter, Gary and rest of the family.
