Lynn Chee was a very loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a very hard worker; he mined uranium for Union Carbide Corp. in Egnar, Colo., for 28 years. He enjoyed livestock and being outdoors; he was a lifetime rancher. He was a kind, generous, strong and brilliant man. He has earned the title "MacGyver" for his innovative thinking and creations - there wasn't anything that he couldn't fix. He had a very strong belief in God and was very religious.
He was diagnosed with lung silicosis in 1992, leiomyosarcoma in 2009, and spinal and pelvic metastisis in early 2011. He bravely fought cancer for many years but he succumbed to the cancer two months after being diagnosed with spinal and pelvic metastisis in March 2011.
We would like to extend our thanks to Huntsman Cancer Institute, University of Utah Medical Center, Intermountain Healthcare, Home Health and Hospice (all of Salt Lake City), Four Corners Regional Care Center (Blanding), and Peterson Medical Supplies. Special thanks to San Juan Mortuary, LDS Church, and all those who have generously contributed their time and money to our family in a time of need.
