Mark Bruce "Arrow" Herrera passed away April 29th, 2015 in Klamath Falls, Oregon. He was a member of the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe of Towac, CO.

Mark was born July 14th, 1963 in Durango, CO to Jose Ignacio Alfonso Herrera, Sr. and Mary Ruth Washington. He grew up in and attended schools in Ignacio, Colo. He lived in Salt Lake City, Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Denver, Missouri and Texas. He eventually settled in Klamath Falls, where he met a special caring, friend, Betty.

He and his brothers enjoyed electronics and working on cars together. He was an avid outdoorsman and a creative cook. Mark was an animal lover - especially his dog, "Goliath." Mark enjoyed beadwork, leatherwork, carpentry, was an expert machinist and loved riding his Harley. He was very proud of his heritage. He was always travelling and had many friends.

He is survived by his sisters: Leona R. Brown-Howe and Debra J. Brown; brothers: Steve Herrera and Eduardo Herrera; aunts: Sylvia Weaver, Francis Wilkey, Shirley Esparza; uncles: Tino Herrera and Rudy Alires; and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

He is preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Steven Ray, "Horse, Jr." and Roldan Herrera; several aunts, uncles and extended family as well.

A Rosary will be held on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church at 6pm. A Mass will be on Friday, May 8, 2015 at 10am, also at St. Ignatius, with burial to follow at Ignacio West Cemetery.
