Mashelle Eaton Obituary

Mashelle (Shelle) Anne Arnold Eaton, 46, of Dolores, passed away on June 16 in Fayetteville, N.C. Mashelle was born in Durango to Sheryl Rose (Shryrock) and Chris Arnold on December 14, 1966.

She went to high school in Dolores. Shelle was known as an artist to her family and friends. She enjoyed all types of art and bright colors. She also liked being with her family, friends and dogs. She will be especially remembered for her quick wit, originality, spirit of adventure and optimism. Her ability to create instant friends was undeniable with all that knew her.

Mashelle is preceded in death by her grandparents, Melba and Bunn Arnold and Buford and Ida Lu Shryock.

Mashelle is survived by her husband, Mahlon Eaton of Bakersfield, Calif.; her daughter; Jacy Pickens, of Denver; brother, Jesse Rose, of Ophir; mother, Sheryl Rose, of Dolores and father, Chris Arnold.

Memorial services will be held at Aztec Cemetery, 800 Chamisa Ave., in Aztec, N.M. on Saturday, June 22, at 9:30 a.m.
