Max Olivas Obituary
Max worked in the oil and gas industry for the better part of his life and was well-liked and respected by his colleagues and employees. Max loved motorcycle riding, fishing, music, reading, spending time with his family telling stories of the past and spoiling his grandchildren as he was the BEST grandpa ever! Max was a universal handyman and could fix or build anything.
Max will be remembered for his love, kindness and sense of humor. He touched so many lives as he was willing to help anyone he could. A man of humble beginnings that ended with a rich life filled with love and hard work.
A Rosary will be held on Friday, June 1, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the church. Interment will follow at Cortez Cemetery and a celebration of life will follow at the St. Margaret Mary Parish Hall.

I worked with Max in the 80's,in oil exploration seismograph. Max was always great, in any situation you always knew he had your back. My heart goes out to Carmen and all of Max's family. He had a profound impact on my life. Max, you will be greatly missed by all who knew you.
