Orvetta Clayton Obituary
Orvetta was born one of eight children to Samuel Earl and Cora Bell (Cotton) West on Oct. 21, 1914 in Leslie, Ark. She passed away at Madison House on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011 at the age of 97.
Orvetta made her home in the Carbondale, Colo. area from 1937 to 1980. She served as the librarian for the Gordon Cooper Public Library in Carbondale from 1966-1980.
Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Orvetta Clayton with Hope's Kitchen or The Bridge Emergency Shelter.
