Rodney Tucker Obituary
Rodney enjoyed the great outdoors, hunting all types of game, especially deer, elk and bear, and going camping with his family and friends. He was a hard-working man and was dedicated to doing his best at any job he took on. He was associated with R & B Oil Company LLC.
Rodney received the Lord Jesus as his personal savior at 5 years of age, and was baptized in a pool in Uravan. He also received his first communion at that age. He was an unusual man of faith and had an understanding of salvation beyond his years. He had a kind and giving heart.
Rodney was preceded in death by his father Bob. He leaves behind his wife, Debbie; his children, Crystal (Jason) Kayle (Tyler), Amy (John), Bowen (Savanah); his mother, Betty; his sisters, Cindy and Pam (Glen Luchtel); his brothers, Robert (Karen) and Rick; 10 grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Services to be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 11, at Evangel Assembly of God in Cortez. The family would like to invite all who knew and loved him to join us at the church services to say goodbye to an amazing man of kindness and integrity who loved family and God. Dinner to follow the services. Graveside service after at Fairview Cemetery in Yellow Jacket.

I met Rod at the Cortez RMEF Banquet where he purchased a African Safari through CCR Safaris in South Africa.
Rod was a very interesting man and I liked him from the start.

I am so sorry to hear of Rodney's passing and of the great loss to his surviving family.
Rodney and I were good friends in grade school. During a time when I didn't have many friends, he was a great an faithful friend to me. I have fond memories of sleep overs at Rodney's house, listening to music, playing games and exploring McElmo Canyon. Truly wonderful and formative childhood experiences!
Even though we were not as close when we grew older, I always felt that Rodney was there for me as a friend and I for him.
I know Rodney will be missed by many, as I know he was loved by many.
I am so grateful to Rodney Tucker for being my friend when I needed a friend. I know that my life has been the better for it.
