Rosselle Hoyt Obituary

A celebration of Rosselle Elsie Hoyt's life will be held Saturday, Nov. 30 at the Mancos Community Center located at 130 Grand Ave. in Mancos from 2 to 5 p.m.

Rosselle was a resident of Mancos for 54 years. At the time of her passing Rosselle was a resident of the Good Sam's Nursing home in Aztec, New Mexico. She was born on July 9, 1923 in Bay City, Wisconsin to John Whipple and Elise Sansdstrom. "Whipple" and passed away on Oct. 15, 2013. Rosselle enjoyed the mountains and being outdoors, whether that was fishing, camping or riding 4-wheelers, even at the age of 82. She will remain an example of a woman that loved, lived and laughed during good times and more importantly during life's challenging moments.

Rosselle is survived by her son, Michael and wife Connie Hoyt of Bloomfield, NM; two daughters Joan and husband Dennis of Bloomfield, NM and Donna and husband Steve of Hurricane, Utah. Rosselle was the proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and was loved by countless family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cyril and son Gene Hoyt. Please drop by and share a few memories with Roselle's' family and friends.
