Skye McClure Obituary

Skye Allen McClure was born June 18, 1981, in Cortez to Allen McClure and Lori Hodges. He passed away in Grand Junction on Sept. 23, 2013, at the age of 32 from the results of an auto accident.

Skye was a joy to be around. No matter what was happening he had a great smile and a sense of humor no other can compare to. Skye worked many jobs, gathering firewood with his friend Darel Hackett, but mostly he did carpentry work. The most fun was being a cowboy with his dad.

Skye had one sibling, Crystal Dawn, who passed away in June 2013. No matter where one would go the other wasn't far behind, and now they are together for all eternity.

Skye leaves behind his love, Jataun Moses and her daughter, Andraey; three children, two sons, Kyle and Isaac McClure of South Dakota, and daughter, Angela of Salt Lake City, Utah; his father, Allen McClure of Cortez; his mother, Lori (Hodges) Flannery of California; his grandparents, Jean and Curt Moss of Cortez, and Willa Jean Hodges of California; his Auntie Mama, Sue Kelly of Cortez; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who miss him tremendously. Skye was greeted by his sister, Crystal; grandfathers, Rex McClure and Ed Hodges; Uncle Clinton; and by cousins and friends that went on ahead of him.

There will be a private celebration of life at a later time.
