Tom Hood Obituary
2/09/1950 - 5/19/2021
Tom was born on February 9th, 1950 in Chicago, IL to Bill and Doris Hood. He was a retired local 701 auto mechanic and enjoyed spending time with his four kids and six grandkids. Tom had a passion for nature, the outdoors, and bird watching. Tom enjoyed camping and snow skiing with the guys, coffee with friends, and especially enjoyed making burritos on camping trips.
He is survived by his wife, Geralyn (nee Lucey), his four children Patrick (Ale) Hood, Ashley (Jeff Blocker) Hood, Bridget (Michael) Kaper, Geralyn (Kevin) Mrockowski, his sister, Ann Vaughn, brother Steve Hood, many nieces and nephews and his beloved friends. Tom has six grandkids: Patrick Hood, Jr., Jeshua Marquez, Claire Elizabeth Kaper, Savannah, Braelyn and Connor Mrockowski.
A celebration of life will be private and held at a later date.
