Vincent Haffey Obituary
He is remembered as a young clerk in the family business, a fisherman and a drummer. Vince played behind local musicians as well as musicians he toured with in the 1960s and 1970s. He was a member of the Dean Davis Trio in his teens and 20s.
His only sibling, Karen Mischke of Cortez, her husband Jim, his nephew, Josh of Denver and his niece, Gabrielle of Cortez survive him. Vince initiated college funds for his niece and nephew.
There will be a graveside service at Greenmount Cemetery on April 19, at 1 p.m. Hood Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be sent in Vince's name to the Bridge Emergency Shelter, P O BOX 56, Cortez, CO., 81321.
