Wallace Ahkeah Obituary
He is survived by his daughters Verna Lopez of Towaoc, CO and Vanessa Martinez of Cortez, CO; grandchildren, Chelsea HighElk, Cortez, Kelsea (Birdy) Jacket, Towaoc, and Wallace Summa, Towaoc; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Surviving siblings include brothers, Arnold Ahkeah, Grand Junction, CO, Sammy Ahkeah, Shiprock NM, and Roger Ahkeah, Shiprock NM; and sisters, Rita Cornfield, Cortez, CO and Arlene Lee of Shiprock. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Annie Ahkeah; parents Father Willie Ahkeah and mother Eula Ahkeah; brothers, Curtis Scott, David Scott and Donald Ahkeah; and sister Mary Ann Yazzie.
Services were handled through Desert View Funeral Home in Shiprock.

My deepest sympathy to My cousin Verna and Vanessa and their families, my Uncle and my mom Rita and Aunt Arlene. My heart goes out to my family. My Uncle was a light in this world and I know his life is eternal now and he lives forever in a pure and whole body with Christ. We love you and R.I.P. Uncle Wallace. You were a good and faithful servant.

R.I.P Wallace,
Many years ago I played with Sammy and Roger and Donald all over the mountains around Rico.We all had fun and got along ,Arnold and Wallace were older than us,but would join us for war down at the water tank if no one saw them playing with the "little"guys.What a lot of memories from long ago! God bless the Ahkeah family.
