Please join family, friends, and community in honoring and celebrating the lives of
Walt and Lynne Henes.
April 18, 2026 at 1pm
18411 Road 24.25 Dolores, CO
Walt passed away August 9, 2025 in Flagstaff AZ (91). Lynne (88) is a current resident of the Beehive Memory Care facility and still has a wonderful life for us to celebrate.
We will begin gathering at 1:00 pm. Light snacks and "Walt approved" beverages will be available. An informal program will begin at 2:00 pm followed by the opportunity to share in the joy and laughter that inevitably comes with retelling of stories involving Walt & Lynne.
If you wish to honor Walt & Lynne's years of dedication to Cortez and the greater community of Montezuma County, please consider donating to our local NPR station at www.ksjd.org.
For those of you who can't make it in person you are invited to join a zoom of the celebrations. To register and get more details contact Robby at [email protected].
