Willa Hall Obituary
Willa Dean was born to Arthur Paul Holly and Bernice Sparks Holly Wheeler on February 7, 1939 in Cortez, CO. Willa Dean spent most of her life in the Cortez area and worked at several local businesses including San Juan Basin Technical School and Slavens hardware store. She was a long-time member of the Ute Mountain American Legion Auxiliary Post #75, where she also served as one of their officers.
Willa Dean is survived by three children, Michael Hall, Michele Hall and Leslie Carlson, all of Cortez; one sister, Sharon Lee of Bullhead City, AZ; three grandchildren, Richard (Brandy) Kidd, Shelby Goode and Gavalon Horhank; one great-grandchild, Braeden James Kidd and six nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Lisa Jo Holly and one sister, Loretta Ann Holly Pollock.
A celebration of Willa Dean's life will be held on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the American Legion Hall post #75, Cortez, CO at 1:00 pm. More information will be provided at a later date.

With a very grateful but broken heart that I have had the pleasure of visiting with Willa on the phone and I did get to see her a few years ago. A niece and her husband (Freda and B G Feaster) and I was returning from California and we visited with Willa and Bernice. It was a wonderful visit. Since then I have tried to keep in touch by phone.
My love to the all the family.
