Born: December 17, 1941 | Died: February 18, 2026

Robert "Bob" Garner born December 17, 1941, in Louisville, TN and went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday February 18, 2026. Bob was a Navy veteran, a retired construction worker, and he loved all sports, especially golf. He was a member of Lamplight Full Gospel Church. He loved his family. Bob was preceded in death by his parents: Nelson and Gertrude Reno Garner, 5 sisters and 4 brothers, Teresa Fout the mother of one of his granddaughters, special and beloved pets: Max and Logan. Bob was survived by his wife of 60 years Betty Scott Garner, Children: Jeff, Cindy and Mike. Grandchildren: Kelsey (Devin) Walker, Lauren, Jasmine, Halie, and Billy Fout. Great-Grandchildren: Finley, Bryson Walker, Emersyn Walker, Callie Walker, and daughter in law Kelley Garner. Special Friends: Gina Flanagin, Judy Aker, Dennis, and Kent and Sharon Harveston. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 P.M. Monday February 23, 2026, at Memorial Funeral Home 1102 Big Springs Road Maryville, TN 37801 with Pastor Jake Deputy officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The family and friends will meet at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday February 24, 2026, at Holston College Cemetery for Graveside Funeral Services.
