Amy Parker Obituary
Amy was born in Sumter, South Carolina, to the late Rose and James Baxley. She was a creative soul and artist, inspiring her career as a floral designer.
Amy was spiritual, and found comfort and happiness in nature. She enjoyed quiet moments at the beach, watching her backyard birds, and spoiling her fur babies beyond reason. To know Amy is to know her silly, "Texan" sense of humor, her sharp intellect, and her laughter. Amy's legacy is the immense love that she had for her family as a Mother, a cherished "Sissy", and a proud Mimi.
Amy is survived by her loving daughters, Melanie Parker and Natasha Hodges; her son-in-law, Matthew Hodges; her grandbabies, Cara, Ava, and Evan; and her brothers, Richard Baxley and James Baxley.
Amy's Celebration of Life will be held on April 11th, 2026, at 11:00 AM ET at State Street Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, we encourage donations to Amy's preferred causes, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Pawmetto Lifeline.
