Lexington, South Carolina - Columbia, SC – Elwood L. Gerald, age 92, passed away peacefully at Wellmore of Lexington on March 9, 2026.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother, Talbert R. Gerald. Those left to cherish his memories include Christine Gerald, his wife of 67 years; two daughters, Christie Gerald Derrick (Karl), Linda Gerald Plisco (Jonathan); three grandchildren, Krystal Derrick Graham (Mitchell), Jennifer Plisco Langhals (John), Michael Liston Plisco; five great-grandchildren, Tyler Graham, Rachel Graham, Emily Graham, Rylan Langhals, and Ezra Langhals.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in the chapel of Bush River Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Bush River Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at Bush River Funeral Home.
