Yaeko Pardue

Lake Wateree, South Carolina - A memorial service for Mrs. Yaeko Pardue will be held Thursday, March 26, 2026, 11:00 a.m. at Lake Wateree Presbyterian Church, 2357 Old Windmill Road, Ridgeway, SC 29130.

Mrs. Yaeko Pardue was born on March 25, 1933, in Takashi, Japan, to the late Mrs. Shiro Hosehino and Mr. Shigekichi. After bravely facing a lengthy struggle with dementia, she passed away on March 21, 2026.

After high school, Yaeko pursued studies in both nursing and English. She found employment as a telephone operator on a US Air Force Base, where she met her future husband, Jud Pardue. Yaeko became a naturalized citizen of the United States of America on September 16, 1994.

Yaeko was an active member of Lake Wateree Presbyterian Church and held lifetime membership in the VFW Post 8346 Auxiliary.

Yaeko is survived by her devoted husband of over sixty-two years, Jud Pardue, of Lake Wateree, SC; her son, Bryan Pardue, of Ridgeway, SC; her sister, Miyoko Azomua, of Japan; her niece, Lori Yarborough, and her husband, Troy; as well as many other cherished relatives and friends.

Nelson's Funeral Home of Ridgeway is in charge of arrangements.
