Salli Anne Hearn

October 6, 1943 – November 17, 2025

Salli Anne Fleharty was born in Sacramento, California to Ralph and Janis Fleharty. Her parents moved to San Jose, California where Salli grew up, except for two years when she lived in Japan. Salli gave birth to two sons, Richard and Robert, and enjoyed motherhood. She also completed her educational goals and enjoyed many years working as an accountant and preparing income tax returns. She worked in that field in San Jose.

In 1982, Salli and her husband, Randy Hearn, moved to Grass Valley, California where Salli continued working as an accountant. She enjoyed donating her skills, too, while they built a house in Grass Valley which Salli designed. They enjoyed Nevada County Hiking Club, cross-country skiing, and many Christian friends.

Those who knew Salli well called her Saint Salli," (perhaps for tolerating her husband for 56 years), or for her numerous cards for all occasions, or for countless years helping others.

Salli was preceded in death by their sons, Richard and Robert Hearn; by her parents; brother Donald, and by numerous distant relatives. She is survived by her husband Randy; daughter Sherry; grandson Robbie; four cousins, Bill, Judy, Charlene, and Mary; and many other relatives.

Saint Salli, we will miss you. See you in heaven!
