JEFFREY L. ALLEN, 66, of
Dunbar, WV, loving husband, dad, brother, uncle, and friend finished his earthly course and entered his Heavenly home on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from complications following a devastating stroke on June 27. Jeff's favorite verse was Jeremiah 29:11 and we are confident that Jeff was faithful to God's plan for his life.
Jeff was born April 17, 1959, the son of William Howard and Delores Lovejoy Allen, who preceded him in death. Jeff was a 1977 graduate of East Bank High School. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hurricane and the Wings of Grace Sunday School Class. He retired in December 2024 as an Account Representative from Vallen (formerly Fairmont Supply and Hagemeyer North America). He enjoyed camping, fishing, family tree research, metal detecting, vintage stereo equipment and albums, coin collecting, antiquing, and spending time with his family.
Jeff's blended family includes his wife of 16 years, who he referred to as "the love of his life", Mary E. Allen of Dunbar; precious daughter and buddy, Sally Sigman (Wes) of Chesapeake; son, Daniel Moore (Jennifer) of Dunbar; daughter, Rebekah Moore (1988-2017); brother, Rick Allen of Daniels; niece and nephews, Ricky (Julie), Caleb and Emma Allen of Beaver; grandson, Abel Sigman, of Chesapeake, who he referred to as "his little buddy"; granddaughter, Audrey Moore of Marmet; his "brother from another mother" and best friend, Damon Caudill (Kim) of Chesapeake and a host of friends and family.
A celebration of life service will be held at First Baptist Church of Hurricane, WV, (2635 Main Street) on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 12 p.m with Pastors Jeff Davenport, Allen Bays and Ron Stoner officiating . Visitation will be 1 hour before the service. Burial will be in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow, WV. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jeff's honor and memory may be made to the First Baptist Church of Hurricane's HELP fund. Fidler and Frame Funeral Home,
