I knew Troy for many years. A vibrant, kind, funny and intelligent man. He brought sunshine to every person who had the good fortune of getting to know him His honesty about the struggles he faced gave hope to many that they too could change their lives and circumstances. I only found out today of his passing. My sincere condolences to his family.

In the quiet moments where memories linger, I find myself reflecting on the beautiful life my grandpa lived. Every story he told filled our hearts with warmth, and his laughter echoed in our family, a melody that will never fade.

Though he's no longer with us physically, his spirit dances in the gentle rustle of autumn leaves and shines in the golden hues of the setting sun. I remember the way he would share his wisdom, guiding me with love and kindness.

I often find myself reflecting on the moments we've shared, and I wish more than anything that I could express my feelings one last time. I wish I could say "I love you" and wrap my arms around him in a warm embrace, feeling the comfort and familiarity that his presence always brought me. He was my favorite grandpa, and I will miss him and my mom. I will love him until the day I die. I am 12 years old, and this is very sad for me.
